(1) This Procedure is effective from 1 May 2002 and incorporates all amendments to 17 June 2015. (2) This Procedure outlines the processes involved in registering business and domain names at the University. (3) This Procedure applies to all organisational units of the University. (4) This Procedure is pursuant to the Registration of University-Owned Business Names and Domain Names policy. (5) All proposals to register a business name or domain name shall be made to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global Engagement. (6) The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global Engagement shall make such enquiries as deemed prudent to be satisfied that the proposal conforms to the policy requirements of the University. (7) The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global Engagement shall cause a register to be kept of all business names and domain names registered in the name of the University.
