Summary of Changes from Previous Version

On 24 May 2019 clauses 2 and 5 of the Security procedure were amended to reflect that the overarching document for the Security procedure is Regulation 6.1(2) University Property. Prior to 24 May 2019, the Security procedure overarching document was the Management of University Physical Facilities policy. These amendments were necessary as the Management of University Physical Facilities policy was revoked on 24 May 2019.


This procedure was established on the date of approval recorded in its preamble section. On 1 February 2016 policies and procedures were moved to the University's new Policy Library. For all intents and purposes the current version of this document is reflective of that published in the Guide prior to the new system launch. The document has been subjected to reformatting, including the application of a new numbering system and section headings.
