Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Contracts policy suite was revised to remove existing ambiguities and the need to constantly cross-reference between the current Contracts policy and the Financial Delegations policy.

A list of authorised signatories is now set out in the new Contracts procedure. This will reduce confusion regarding which position has authority to sign which type of contract and to what value.

A simplified contracts approval process is set out to clarify what advice and approvals are to be sought prior to entering into a contract; who approves contracts terms; and who can execute contracts. A checklist has been developed to assist contract users with the process.
