Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The Probation (Professional Staff) procedure was amended on 7 May 2024 to reflect current practice including updating clauses to reflect that documentation is to be recorded in DeakinAchieve (clause 17); that confirmation of continuing employment following the probation period occurs verbally with the staff member during the DeakinAchieve meeting (clause 18); and that the probationary staff member’s leader confirms successful completion of probation.
