Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This is the third version of the Leave and Public Holidays Procedure published on the University's new Policy Management System, the Policy Library. This version of the Procedure was amended on 1 November 2016 to provide a minimum of 8 weeks employer funded paid parental leave (EFPPL) for primary carers (both male and female). The changes are substantively contained under the new sub-heading ‘Primary Carer Leave’, involving the addition of 5 clauses (45-49) and the insertion of the descriptor (“primary carer”) in subsequent clauses as required.
