On 15 March 2019 amendments were made to the Recognition of Prior Learning policy to: –  change 'credit for prior learning' to 'recognition of prior learning' throughout the policy suite (and including to the policy suite title) to align with common admissions terminology. Other amendments were to:

- clarify the scope of the policy suite - cover credit arrangements for Professional Practice credentials (clause 8) - provide a clear process for granting Masters admission credit for 8 credit point and 12 credit point Masters courses (clause 10) - set out requirements for students receiving Masters admission credit (clause 11b) - introduce a new subclause (clause 11.c.iv) to prevent students from seeking credit after attempting a unit and receiving a finalised grade - introduce an approval process for exceptions to the RPL requirements (clause 12) - revise the definition of Credit point and provide a new definition of RPL
