Summary of Changes from Previous Version

On 28 March 2024 the new Controlled Entities Oversight and Reporting Procedure superseded two old documents, the ‘Charter for Boards of Deakin University Controlled Entities’ and ‘Reporting requirements for Deakin University Controlled Entities’. In addition to consolidating the two existing documents, the new Procedure provides important updates and eliminates redundant information. It sets out the main responsibilities of the boards of our controlled entities, consistent with good governance practice, and their reporting responsibilities as part of the University’s governance arrangements.
