Summary of Changes from Previous Version

The new Procedure does not introduce any new processes, systems or reports. Rather, it formalises and elevates existing standards and responsibilities for the governance and approval processes for research involving human research participants, their data or tissue. It also ensures compliance with the requirements of the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research and the revised Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research (2018)
