Summary of Changes from Previous Version

On 16 November 2023 the Council Members Appointment and Remuneration procedure was amended to address updates to the Victorian Government’s Board Appointment, Remuneration and Diversity Guidance notes including: - emphasis on diversity in appointments - a rigorous approach to reappointments - new clause 8 under ‘Principles’ to reflect that Council maintains and regularly updates the Council Skills Matrix - new references at clause 8, cross referenced at clause 13, about the incorporation of recommendations from Council performance reviews into Council’s Skills Matrix and (re)appointment recommendations - changes to reflect the renaming of the ‘Remuneration Committee’ to ‘People and Culture Committee’.
