Summary of Changes from Previous Version

On 23 March 2023, amendments were made to the Child Safety procedure in response to changes to the Victorian Child Safe Standards and Reportable Conduct Regime under the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005 including reference to Deakin’s Child Safety Officer as the point of contact for concerns about the safety of a child or young person (clauses 10-13) and related processes for reporting (clauses 14-19), and removal of reference to Child Safety Advisers.
