On 15 November 2018 the Recruitment of Staff procedure was updated to reflect the new Talent Acquisition (TA) function and process which come into effect on 19 November 2018. The amendments to the Procedure articulate the high level of support which will be provided to Hiring Managers by the new TA team in the Human Resources Division. The updated Procedure details Deakin’s new approach to recruitment, reflecting a much more flexible and tailored approach to supporting Academic and Professional Hiring Managers sourcing their ideal candidates. Significant changes to the Procedure include: On the 22 November 2018 and administrative amendment to the Procedure was made to clarify in clause 19 that the position must be vacant or the current incumbent is departing.Recruitment of Staff procedure
