Summary of Changes from Previous Version

On 7 May 2020 Academic Board Executive Committee on behalf of Academic Board approved amendments to the special grading schema which applies to the grading of all assessments in higher education courses for Trimester 1/Semester 1, 2020 units. The revised special grading schema comprises:

•    Grades and numerical marks for all passing grades (any result from 50/100) which will contribute to internal Weighted Average Mark (WAM) calculations.

•    Grade-only results for failing grades to exclude these from internal WAM calculations. A three-point fail grade set allows for progress determinations such as conceded pass and last unit to complete.

•    incomplete result (RIC) allows resolution of marks for units with learning activities delayed to a subsequent trimester by COVID-19 response requirements.
