On 24 May 2019 the University's policies on space management and infrastructure were updated. This involved: 1. revoking the: Space Management policy; Space Management and Allocation procedure; Management of University Physical Facilities policy and; Facilities Management procedure. 2. making the new Space Management and Infrastructure policy and Space Management and Allocation procedure. Specifically, the Space Management and Infrastructure Policy was revised to: • set out approvals required for the acquisition, disposal and leasing of land and property clauses 23 -29 of the policy • provide greater emphasis on sustainability throughout the policy • provide additional information on occupational health and safety matters throughout the policy • include explicit reference to disability access standards clause 8b in the policy • set out principles considered in hiring University spaces to external organisations- clauses 32-35 of the policy.Space Management and Infrastructure policy
