Summary of Changes from Previous Version

On 28 November 2019 administrative amendments were made to clause 9 of the Gifts and Hospitality Acceptance policy to align with the new Compliance Management policy by replacing references to the revoked Breach Management procedure with the Compliance Management policy and replacing reference to breaches with non-compliance.

The Policy was amended on 27 June 2019 to: - clarify that where University staff are invited to attend and/or present at conferences directly relevant to their area of academic or professional expertise, any offer made by an external entity to cover the costs of participation (including accommodation, meals or flights) is not required to be reported (provided that the costs/activities are reasonable and proportionate) - new clause 14. - provide clear instruction on who should be notified should any cultural gift or Aboriginal artefacts be received (new clauses 15-17).
